Eric participated as a director in the 2002 Crazy 8s; a filmmaking competition which the directors are each given $800 and 8 day to film a movie. Eric then attened the screening of this year's participating films at Vancouver BC's Firehall Theater on May 25, 2002. • According to EJ-Online, Eric will be starring in a new Showtime picture entitled Stealing Sinatra. Which also stars William H. Macy (The X Files)  and David Arquette (Scream) as kidnappers, as well as Thomas Ian Nicholas (American Pie).  Stealing Sinatra, is a true-crime comedy, about the bungled 1963 kidnapping of Frank Sinatra, Jr.  Eric will be starring as Dean Torreance, the half other half of the sufer-rock duo Jan and Dean.
